What is Completed Automotive Logistics?
The processes involved in the movement of an automobile from the time it leaves the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manufacturing process until it reaches the dealer or end client are referred to as finished automotive logistics. Other major duties include storage, post-production modification, maintenance, repair, and pre-delivery inspection, in addition to the actual transportation of the vehicle, which might be using road, sea, or even air.
The factory is the initial point of contact for completed automotive logistics. The unloading of the vehicle off the conveyor belt and its evacuation from the plant begins a logistical procedure the minute the last elements of the automobile are installed. The automobiles are transitional after this process. They are carried to parking terminals and parked in that spot in a systematic manner.
Barcodes and RFID labels are applied to automobiles before they leave the manufacturer. All of the vehicle's information is analyzed in this label and barcode. When the cars arrive at the parking terminals, their barcode and RFID tag are read, and the data contained inside is entered into the terminal information system.
